Jason and I were asked to speak at our YW Camp last month, and here you can see the YC's doing their cheer. The young woman front and center, with navy shorts, green shirt and long brown hair, is our son-in-law's cousin, Kaylie. She is in our Stake and is an awesome leader for our youth. Kaylie was leading the YC' s with their cheer, and they were reenacting what BYU Football team does for pre-game warm-ups from Tonga or the Pacific Islands. Good job YW!
Here is our camp's amphitheater where we spoke. I spoke for fifteen minutes on Personal Progress and Happiness, then President spoke for about forty minutes on a potpourri of heavy-handed topics such as being a Daughter of God, texting, internet, virtual reality, & sexual purity.
Whitney and Jaycee had never been to our Stake Camp before, so they came along for the evening, and enjoyed the dinner, cheers, and the fireside. Grandpa Jason used Jaycee as his visual aid towards the beginning of his talk about being a daughter of Heavenly Father and realizing the importance of that relationship.
Now, onto our Williams Reunion. This is a representative group of the Wilsons who were there. We are posing near the equipment barn at Wheeler Barn. What a good looking group!
About thirteen of us slept at the Romneys and they were the hosts with the most! Thanks!
These three handsome young men, Gunner, Sam and Zack, were great to have along.
My cousin Peggy has tried to keep track of our family pedigree and teach us about our relationships to each other. Pictured here is her giant family pedigree chart.
We had a family fashion show at Aunt Frances' home. Santa even visited us in July, and our cousin Ann made his costume.
Here is Rachel modeling some nightwear owned by one of the ancestral Williams girls.
Mere was getting Gunner ready for some Cowboy Time next month at Sunriver.
I enjoyed showing my grandson off to all the family in attendance.
Rachel and Pierre from the east coast, got the award for being the most recent newlyweds.
Here, my second cousin, Marion, dressed up and told us from a first -person point of view about our grandmother's sister, (and Marion's grandmother) Eva Williams.
Cousin Paul was the talent show Master of Ceremonies. You are a natural with the mic, couz!
Aunt Arlene who is in her eighties, played a piano number from memory that was enjoyed by all. Thanks so much for sharing your talent with the extended family.
Lar and Mar pulled through to represent the Wilson line with a duet from the opera, "Carmen", which is music we listened to as children. They were asked to perform just the night previous, so Mary found music on the internet, and she and Lar practiced all afternoon off and on during the Family Olympics. We appreciate your taking on this challenge, sibs!
Mere, Gunner and cousin Lindsey in the "jump house".
Cousin Zwolinkski from Texas and Dow were enjoying a visit.
The ladies were leading out on the Humanitarian Aid Project--Lindsey, Mari-Lynn, Jennifer, Ann, and Lynda.
The younger generation got involved on tying fleece quilts: Meredith, Lauren, Gunner, and Ben (c'mon Ben, did you really tie a quilt? :) and Mary.
We had a chance to go check out D & L's new home up the canyon. It is amazing. Thanks for sharing!
I am so proud of this pic of my two younger brothers on the deck of the new home. Classic Dow and Stan, who had just finished a golf game earlier that morning.
Cousins, Lindsey and Levi, stopped for minute to let Aunt Pam photograph them on the deck too.
Most of the time, Levi was inside trying to juggle his balls over the huge, high beams, in the gathering room. Lindz (guess that should be Binz) was supervising Levi and chasing balls.
Four of five siblings and Mike, the bro-in-law. Lar and Lynda actually visited Dow's home after we left, the same day.
There are many themed rooms, which the Wilson children have helped paint. I think Mariah and Hannah painted the mural shown here with Binz.
Cute pic of Mike and Mar on one of several stairwells.
Here at Seaside, Jacey is experiencing her first trip to Pig N' Pancake, one of Grammie's favorite places.
Swimming together at the hotel pool.
She looks like a big-girl toddler here in the beach swing.
Whit and Jaycee--both Seaside first timers.
Grandpa is very pleased to take Jaycee out to the edge of the water and play with the waves.
Surprise for us at Ecola Bay State Park--a herd of elk! There were about 12 of them visible to us!
